About Me

My name is Will Foucher and I am from Chatham, New Jersey. After swimming for 9 years, I found rowing my junior year of high school and fell in love. Coming to Purdue I knew I wanted to row, and joining the team has been one of the most fulfilling decisions I’ve ever made. I’m very excited for the upcoming year of racing and for the opportunity to represent Purdue Crew as President.

I am entering my Senior year at Purdue majoring in Aerospace Engineering with a specialization in Systems and Design and minoring in Mathematics. Outside of rowing, I enjoy driving, classical history, and fixed gear bicycles.

Vice President: Katie Hilleman

Year: Junior

Major: Chemical Engineering

Position in the Boat: Coxswain

About Me

I’m a Chemical Engineering junior from Fort Wayne, IN. When I was walking to the dining hall during BGR, a Purdue Crew teammate said I should join the team. I walked past, trying to brush it off with “I’m too short and unathletic,” but she was insistent and said “we need short people, too.” So I became a coxswain and the team has become a second family while I’m at school. I’m looking forward to spending my junior year pushing myself and my teammates toward greatness.

Position in the Boat: Coxswain

About Me:

Hello! I’m a Senior from Indianapolis, Indiana studying Construction Management and Technology with a minor in Organizational Leadership. During BGR, I walked past a tent and one of my students and I both tried the 100m test. Later at the Be Involved Fair, I had talked to Alex, our Novice Men’s coach, and the first thing he asked me was if I’d ever thought of being a coxswain due to my size. Now, I sit at the stern of the boat and have absolutely loved every second of it. This year I am looking forward to being able to better myself alongside my teammates, while getting to learn some new faces.
